Year-round individual and Team coaching in cross-country skiing

In the fall of 2022, Canadian Wintersports launched its coaching programs. These include two individual coaching options, team or group coaching, dryland and on-snow clinics and private lessons. Coaching will be offered by current athletes and experienced coaches. See below for details of the various programs.

Individual Coaching

Year-round and in-season virtual coaching.

$175 per month

Team Coaching

Our coaches can coach your community or club group or maybe assist your High School or University team. (minimum of three people)

Open Team Coaching

$70 per month per person

How does this work? If you are an individual or you and a friend you can join an open team and meet new teams from across Canada.

Community Programs

In this section you will find programs where we are partnering with community groups to offer a variety of skiing experiences.

Program participants receive 25% discount at Skiwax.ca.

Nipissing Lakers Adult Ski Program

$100 for 5 sessions

(plus trail fees)

$200 - 10 sessions

(plus trail fees)

Space is limited. Last year, the program sold out, so register early to secure your spot.

Whether you are learning to cross-country ski or want to improve your skills, the Nipissing Lakers Varsity Ski Team will enhance your winter skiing experience.

This program is for adult skiers of all levels -

Beginner to Advanced;

Recreational and Competitive.

Participants have the option of five or ten ski sessions.
Sessions are in skate and classic skiing technique.
Sunday 11:00 am to 12:30 pm and
Tuesday 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm
Sessions are held at the North Bay Nordic Ski Club. Participants need to purchase a trail pass. http://www.northbaynordic.ca/
Start date is Tuesday, January 9th/Sunday, January 14th.
End date is Tuesday, February 27th/Sunday, March 3rd.
